Garib helped put the Wilson men’s basketball team on the map as the Phoenix won two conference championships and went to the NCAA Division III Championships twice during his tenure. He was an all-conference selection three times with first team honors twice. During his senior campaign, Garib was named the United East Player of the Year for the Volt Division and an all-region selection by both NABC and D3Hoops.com. He set the single game scoring record in a game against Keystone his senior year and helped him become the third player in program history to join the 1,000 Point Club the very next game.
