Alexis Plfumm was instrumental in the Wilson field hockey team reach unprecedented success since arriving on campus in the fall of 2019. During her time at Wilson, the Phoenix won back-to-back-to-back conference championships and appeared in the NCAA Division III championships all three years, no easy task with COVID taking place in the middle of that stretch. Pflumm was an All-CSAC selection three times with second team honors in 2019 followed by first team selections in 2021 and 2022. She was also named CSAC Co-Player of the Year her senior year.
