(CARLISLE, Pa.) – The 2026-27 season got underway for the Wilson men's golf team as it teed off in the first round of the Dickinson Fall Invitational on Sunday.
Cole Cooper (So., Virginia Beach, Va. / Salem) picked up right were he left off last season and fired a 77 to lead the Phoenix.
Brady Curran (So., Frederick, Md. / Linganore) was the second score for the Blue and White as he carded an 83.
Brandon Burt was next in line with a 91.
Gavin Pietras (FY, Mardela, Md. / Mardela) and
Scotty Zorn (So., York, Pa. / Dallastown) both added a 97 with one of those completing the team score of 348 to put Wilson 25th in the team standings.
Gettysburg leads the team standings with a 285. Dickinson's Landon Mauser turned in to top single round with a six-under 66 on his home course.
The Phoenix will complete the event with the second round on Monday.
