(UPPERCO, Md.) – The Wilson men's golf team had its final match before the conference championship at the Stevenson Spring Invitational at Piney Branch Golf Club on Thursday. The field featured 19 teams and saw the Phoenix finish tied for 14th.
Cole Cooper (FY, Virginia Beach, Va. / Salem) again led the squad with an 81.
Rob Kozicki (Sr., Camp Hill, Va. / Camp Hill) turned in an 82.
Junchen Huang (Jr., Taiwan / Veritas Meihua) added an 87, while
Bryson Curtis (FY, Fairfax, Va. / Oakton) and
Brady Curran (FY, Frederick, Md. / Linganore) tied each other with an 88 for the final spot on the team score of 338.
Mount Aloysius won the tournament with a 304. Host Stevenson was second with a 308.
The Phoenix will be off until next Friday when they open up play in the United East Championship in Harrisburg.
