(LATHAM, N.Y.) – Wilson resumed it's incredible start to the season with
Emily Randalls (Dillsburg, Pa. / Northern York) being named the United East Player of the Week. After a being off from competition the previous week, the Phoenix returned to the diamond and once again reclaimed the spot for the third time when possible.
Randalls went on a tear as she went a combined 8-for-15 with seven runs scored in five games. She had the speedburners on as well with four extra base hits, three of them which went for triples.
Two of the three-baggers came in Game 1 against Southern Virginia where she went 3-for-4 with three runs. She followed up with a pair of multiple hit games in a split twin bill at Dickinson. Game 1 in Carlisle saw her go 2-for-4 with a triple, a double, an RBI, and two runs scored.
This is her first Player of the Week award. Randalls is currently on a 17-game reached base streak dating back to last season.
