(LATHAM, N.Y.) – The 2026 United East Men's Volleyball Preseason Poll has been released, and Wilson has been selected second in the nine-team field. The Phoenix are coming off their best season in program history which resulted in their first winning season, a 7-1 conference mark, and a trip to the United East Championship final.
The Blue and White received one first place selection in the voting process. Lancaster Bible received the remaining eight top votes as the defending conference champions.
Neumann was picked third with Cairn and Saint Elizabeth rounding out the top five. New to the conference this year is Immaculata who was picked sixth. Gallaudet, Valley Forge, and Pratt complete the standings.
The Phoenix return almost everyone from last year's squad including Rookie of the Year and First Team selection
Jackson Wolfe (So., Abbottstown, Pa. / New Oxford) and fellow first team pick
Jacob McCoy (Sr., York, Pa. / Spring Grove).
Wilson will get the season underway on Saturday, January 24, as it hosts Valley Forge and Hood in a tri-match. The match against the Patriots will be a non-conference contest.
