Men's Golf Breaks Program Record In Opening Round of Season

(CARLISLE, Pa.) – The season couldn't have started much better for the Wilson men's golf team as it broke the program record for a single round at the Dickinson Fall Invite on Sunday. The Phoenix turned in a round of 333 which broke the previous mark by three strokes set at the conference championship in 2024.

Cole Cooper led the way with a first round score of 78, one stroke off the individual program record. Junchen Huang is four strokes behind him with an 82.

Brady Curran was third for the Blue and White with an 85, while Rob Kozicki completed the team score with an 88. Robert Sturgeon was the fifth Phoenix on the squad and carded a 102.

Franklin & Marshall easily leads the field by 14 strokes on the team leaderboard with a 275. Susquehanna and host Dickinson are tied for second with a 289.

The second and final round will take place Monday.
