(LATHAM, N.Y.) – The United East has announced its 2025 Women's Lacrosse All-Conference Teams and five Wilson Phoenix have been honored for their play this season.
Sage Lague (Sr., Fairplay, Md. / Goretti), Riley Lemay (So., Saugerties, N.Y. / Saugerties), and
Ellisa Gamby-Mickey (So., Chambersburg, Pa. / Chambersburg) are first team selections, while
Alaina Marek (So., Bealeton, Va. / Liberty) and
Kaelyn Goff (So., Union Bridge, Md. / Francis Scott Key) have been chosen on the second team.
Lague caps her collegiate career as the most decorated player in program history with another All-Conference First Team selection, matching her honors from 2024 and 2022 and joining her second team selection in 2023. Despite missing a few games at the start of the season because of an injury, she led the team with 41 points and 33 goals. Lague led the league with 17 goals in conference play and was fifth with 3.00 goals per game on the overall season. She was also solid on the draw where she was fourth with 4.64 draw controls per game and totaled 51 on the season.
Lemay excelled during her sophomore season and is a first team selection on defense. Rising to a leadership position on the defensive end of the field, she was third in the United East in caused turnovers per game with 1.73 with an average of 2.5 in conference play, second in the United East. She added 2.2 ground balls per game with an average oof 3.0 in league action which was tied for third in the United East. Lemay also excelled in the classroom where was named the conference's Elite 20 award winner.
Gamby-Mickey makes her first postseason appearance as a first team selection. She was one of the top players at the start in the circle and was third in the conference with 62 draw controls. Her average of 4.25 in conference play was fourth in the league. She also proved tough on defense where she nearly averaged a caused turnover per game. Gamby-Mickey was also called on offensively at times and totaled 16 points with five goals and 11 assists. Four helpers came in the regular season finale at Cedar Crest.
Marek is also a first time selection and was named to the second team. She was tied for second on the team with 27 points after tallying 13 goals and 14 assists. Her 1.00 assists per game were ninth in the conference and best on the team. Marek recorded at least a point in all but three games she played this season with a career-high six against Notre Dame on a hat trick and three assists.
Goff served as the netminder for the Blue and White and was named to the second team after an excellent season between the pipes. She racked up an incredible 157 saves on the season which easily led the league by 22 stops and is good for No. 36 nationally. Her 11.25 saves per game in conference play also led the league by an average of 1.50. Goff reached double-digits in saves eight times this season with a career-high 20 against Marywood.
