(LATHAM, N.Y.) – For the second time this season
Jackson Wolfe (FY, Abbottstown, Pa. / New Oxford) has been named a United East Player of the Week. After receiving offensive honors earlier this year, the 6-4 outside hitter takes home defensive honors this week.
Wolfe had a busy week across the rotation as he helped Wilson split its final non-conference matches of the season. He totaled 20 kills offensively with 12 in a win over Mount Aloysius. He added three aces as well. Defensively he was strong as well as he nearly tallied a triple double with nine blocks and seven digs against the Mounties. He added another block and three digs against Penn State Behrend.
The Phoenix return to action Monday evening as they host Neumann in a conference match. Opening serve is set for 7:30 p.m.
