(FINDLAY, Ohio) – The season will continue for the Wilson Western equestrian team's
Julie Warnick (So., New Oxford, Pa.) after a supreme at the IHSA semifinals hosted by the University of Findlay. Warnick was competing in reining event and took home the top prize against some of the top riders in the nation.
As a result, she will advance to the national championships the first week of May in Mill Spring, North Carolina.
Warnick was competing against riders from Colorado State, Florida State, Morrisville State, North Carolina State, Syracuse, Findlay, Florida, Nebraska-Lincoln, West Texas A&M, Penn State, and St. Andrews.
Finishing behind Warnick was Madison Story from North Carolina State in second and Maggie Herbert from Morrisville State in third.
Allyson Reese (Sr., Osceola Mills, Pa.) was also competing in Rookie B and finishes her season as a semifinalist.
