(FINDLAY, Ohio) – It was an exciting day for the Wilson equestrian Western team as it competed in the IHSA semifinals at the University of Findlay this weekend. Both of Wilson's qualified riders
Julie Warnick (Sr., New Oxford, Pa.) and
Rachel Bardsley (Jr., Palmyra, Pa.) were able to keep the season alive and will ride again at the national championships.
Warnick is no stranger to the national stage as the former national champion qualified once again in reining. She finished third in the semifinals. Bardsley advances to the finals after also finishing third place in Level 1 Horsemanship. This will be her first appearance at the finals.
The national championships will start on Thursday, April 30, and last through Sunday, May 3.
