(LATHAM, N.Y.) – The United East announced its weekly awards and Wilson's
Cole Cooper has been selected Golfer of the Week. The sophomore linkster led the Phoenix as they opened the season at the Dickinson Fall Invitational in Carlisle.
The Virginia Beach native picked up where he left off last season by leading the Phoenix with two rounds in the 70s. He opened the event with a 77 and followed up by improving his score by two strokes for a 75.
Cooper and the Phoenix will be back on the greens Wednesday as they make the short trek to Penn National Golf Course to play in the Penn State Mont Alto Invitational.
