Men's Golf Finishes Eighth At Conference Championships

(CHAMBERSBURG, Pa.) – The season wrapped up for the Wilson men's golf team as it completed the United East Championship with an 18-stroke improvement from Friday's first round on Saturday. As a team, the Phoenix finished eighth in the event beating out Rosemont.

Penn College won the championship for the third year in a row, while Lancaster Bible's Jake Rotelle was the medalist with a two-day total of 152 after he finished the second round with a 74 for the best score of the day.

As for the Phoenix, scores greatly improved for Tristan Worlock (So., DeRuyter, N.Y. / DeRuyter Central) and Junchen Huang (So., Taiwan / Veritas Meihua International). Worlock turned in the top round for

Wilson from either day with an 84 on Saturday. It was tied for 11th in terms of best rounds for Saturday. His two-day total of 179 put him in a tie for 27th overall. Huang was right behind him with a 180 after he shaved eight strokes off of Friday's round.

Rob Kozicki (Jr., Camp Hill, Pa. / Camp Hill) equaled his opening round to finish with a 186. Joe Ziercher (FY, Berryville, Va. / Clarke County) totaled a 217 to complete the team score.
