Men's Golf Return To Greens at Dickinson

(CARLISLE, Pa.) – The golf season resumed this weekend as Wilson made the short trek up I-81 to compete in Dickinson's Spring Invitational. The Phoenix finished 16th in the event, but were able to improve in the second round with a 19-stroke improvement over Saturday's round.

Tristan Worlock (So., DeRuyter, N.Y. / DeRuyter Central) was the top linkster for the Blue and White as he carded an 83 on Saturday and an 86 Sunday for a total of 169. Rob Kozicki (Jr., Camp Hill, Pa. / Camp Hill) wasn't far behind as he carded a 184. He hit a 98 on Saturday, but cut down his score by a dozen strokes on Sunday. Junchen Huang (So., Taiwan, Veritas Meihua International ) was third on the list for the Phoenix. He finished with a 185 on a 95 and 90.

Making their debut on the links for the Phoenix were Bryson Curtis (So., Fairfax, Va. / So., Fairfax, Va.) and Joe Ziercher (Fy, Berryville, V.a / Clarke County). The duo scored a 193 and 197, respectively, over two rounds, improving by a combined eight strokes.

A busy spring season will continue next weekend at the Pennsylvania Classic at Penn State University's Blue Course.
