(ALTOONA, Pa.) – Wilson wrapped up the Sinking Valley Collegiate Classic hosted by Penn State Altoona on Monday with a round of 358. The Phoenix finished 19th overall in the two-day event with a score of 713 to finish ahead of Carlow.
Franklin & Marshall turned in the top score win the event by seven strokes. Bridgewater jumped up three spots to finish second.
After setting the program single round record,
Cole Cooper (FY, Virginia Beach, Va. / Salem) shot an 84 as the top golfer for the Phoenix.
Rob Kozicki (Sr., Camp Hill, Pa. / Camp Hill) greatly improved from his first round score and shot an 87 as the No. 2 player for the Blue and White on Monday.
Junchen Huang (Jr., Taiwan / Veritas Meihua International) and
Brady Curran (FY, Frederick, Md. / Linganore) completed the team score with a 93 and 94, respectively.
Robert Sturgeon (FY, Goldvein, Va. / Liberty) was the fifth player for the Phoenix and shot a 104.
Wilson will be back in action next Monday and Tuesday at the Charger 36 Hole Fall Invitational hosted by Lancaster Bible.
