Phoenix Push Through Rain at Battle at Berkleigh

(KUTZTOWN, Pa.) – The Wilson men's golf team continued its fall campaign by going to the Battle of Berkleigh Invitational on Thursday. This marked the first time in program history that the Phoenix participated in the event after last year's event was cancelled.

The Wilson golf trio competed against 14 schools with Tristan Worlock (So., DeRuyter, N.Y. / DeRuyter Central) leading the Phoenix with a score of 83. Junchen Huang (So., Taiwan / Veritas Meihua International) and Rob Kozicki (Jr., Camp Hill, Pa. / Camp Hill) also contributed to the team's performance with a 90 and 98, respectively.

Jake Rotelle from Lancaster Bible College was the medalist of the event at five shots under par. Ryan Ricci from Drew and Nontaphat Veeratecha from Albright tied for second.

Next the Phoenix will focus on the United East Golf Preview which they will host at the Chambersburg Country Club on Monday, October 7.
