(CARLISLE, Pa.) – The Wilson men's golf team wrapped up its third consecutive day on the greens by playing in the Dickinson Fall Invitational on a rainy Monday. The wet conditions didn't allow for the lower scores recorded over the weekend, but the Phoenix trio competing still turned in solid days.
All three Phoenix scored in the 80s with United East Golfer of the Week
Tristan Worlock (So., DeRuyter, N.Y. / DeRuyter Central) turning in an 82 for the top score by the Blue and White.
Rob Kozicki (Jr., Camp Hill, Pa. / Camp Hill) followed three strokes back with an 85.
Junchen Huang (So., Taiwan / Veritas Meihua) closed out the scoring with an 87.
It was a loaded field with 99 golfers and 19 teams competing. Timothy Peters representing Division II Millersville was the medalist for the day with a five-under 67. A pair of Dickinson golfers, William Griffith and Collin McMahon-Shea, turned in the top rounds by a Division III school with a 72.
The Phoenix are back in action Thursday when they head to Kutztown for the Battle at Berkleigh.
