(GREENWOOD, Ind.) – Six Wilson College women's soccer student-athletes have received postseason recognition by being named to the 2024-25 Academic All-District® Women's Soccer teams.
Jade Wolfe (Sr., Mercersburg, Pa. / James Buchanan), Halley Shaffer (Jr., Sunbury, Pa. / Line Mountain), Bianca Sommers (Jr., Chambersburg, Pa. / Chambersburg), Annie Smith (So., Hagerstown, Md. / North Hagerstown), Skylar Molnar (Sr., Shohola, Pa. / Delaware Valley), and
Maddy Miller (Jr., Dillsburg, Pa. / Northern) make up the aforementioned group as the Phoenix posted the maximum six spots on the squad.
It's the second consecutive year the Blue and White have had six selections. Wolfe became a three-time honoree. Molnar, Shaffer, and Sommers also repeat their honors from last season.
The teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes women's soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced December 10, 2024.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
