Shaffer Repeats United East All-Conference Honors

(LATHAM, N.Y.) – The United East has announced its all-conference teams for the 2025 season and Wilson's Halley Shaffer (Sunbury, Pa. / Line Mountain) has been honored as a member of the third team. She becomes a four-time all-conference selection and repeats her accolades from a season ago.

The senior forward scored a dozen goals on the year which was fourth in the conference and No. 63 nationally. Six of those went on to be game-winning goals which led the conference and puts her 10th in the nation. None were more memorable than the one she scored in double overtime to lead the Phoenix to victory over Cairn in the first round of the United East Championship.

Her 12 goals came in nine games. When she scored, it meant good things as the Blue and White who went 6-0-3 in those contests. She was always a threat to score and totaled 82 shots on the season which put her in the top 50 nationally.

Shaffer easily goes down as one of the best players in program history, shattering scoring records since her first season. She became the first Phoenix player to record 100 points and finished with 64 goals and 136 points. Her goals mark is fifth among all active players in Division III.
