(CHAMBERSBURG, Pa.) – Members of the United East were in town as they were competing in the conference preview at the Chambersburg Country Club on Monday. With Wilson hosting the United East championships in the spring, it was the first chance for the bulk of the field to get a look at the course which was 6,962 yards in length.
The Phoenix were represented by
Tristan Worlock (So., DeRuyter, N.Y. / DeRuyter Central) and
Junchen Huang (So., Taiwan / Veritas Meihua). Worlock shot a 90 and tied with two others to finish 24th. Huang carded a 98 and finished 32nd.
Peyton Mussina was the medalist with a 74. He also helped Penn win the team event with a 320.
The Phoenix will be back on the greens when they take part in the Ursinus Fall Invitational at Turtle Creek Golf Club in Limerick on Thursday.
