Men's Soccer

Cordell, Wallace Earn All-CSAC Honors

ROSEMONT, Pa. - The Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) has announced its 2021 Men's Soccer End of Year Awards and two Wilson College men's soccer members earned All-CSAC honors. Freshman Jackson Cordell (Waynesboro, PA, Waynesboro Area Senior H.S.) and junior Ryder Wallace (Jim Thorpe, PA., Jim Thorpe) both earned Honorable Mention All-CSAC honors. 

Jackson is a first-time selection to the All-Conference team. Jackson has been a solid defender for the Phoenix all season long. He has played every minute of every game this season and has done an excellent job shutting down the opponents best scorers. Even from his defender position, Jackson ranks fifth on the team in shot attempts.

Wallace is also a first-time selection to the All-Conference team. Wallace plays the mid-field for the Phoenix and leads the team with five points this season. His two goals on ten shot attempts is tied for first on the team and he also has recorded an assist. 

Freshman Jorge Cortez (Columbia, TN, Spring Hill High School) was also recognized by the CSAC as he was named to the All-Sportsmanship team.

The CSAC recognizes the following End of Year Awards: first and second-team All-CSAC, Honorable Mention, All-Sportsmanship, Player of the Year, Defender of the Year, Rookie of the Year, Coach of the Year, and the 3-D Award. The student-athletes were selected to their respective squads by the conference's five head coaches, who were not permitted to vote for their players.
