(CHAMBERSBURG, Pa.) – Halloween may be four weeks away, but
Jace Williams and
Bryson Curtis both scored hat tricks to treat Wilson to a big victory over visiting Gallaudet on Saturday afternoon. As an added bonus, Williams became the all-time program leader in career goals with his second goal of the day.
After knocking on the proverbial door for most of the first half, Wilson finally got on the board with Williams' first goal in the 43rd minute. The flood gates then opened in the second half as the Phoenix found the back of the net six more times for the win.

How It Happened
- Wilson put the pressure on the Bison from the start and had already taken seven shots 10 minute into the game. There were plenty more to come, but none were able to find the back of the net until late in the first half. After a foul was called just outside the box, Williams finally put Wilson on the board with a laser to the upper right 90 in the 43rd minute. The goal placed the senior in a tie with Ethan Russ '19 for the most career goals scored in program history.
- Things were different in the second half as the Blue and White just needed eight minutes to find the back of the net once again. This time Wes Reall Jr. did the honors on a beautiful centering pass from Jordan DeVincent in the 53rd minute. Just four minute later, Williams broke the record with a picture perfect pass from the left by Eric Arbogast. Williams' final score came after he received a long pass down the middle from Tyler Cottone on a breakaway.
- From there Curtis got into the mix and scored a natural hat trick to close the game. All three goals came in the final 10 minutes with assists coming from DeVincent, Cottone, and William Serrano.
Inside The Numbers
- Williams broke Russ's record which had stood since the 2018 season. Williams now has 17 goals in his career.
- Wilson now moves to 5-0-2 all-time against Gallaudet. The Phoenix have outscored the Bison 24-7 in those contests.
- Curtis's hat trick gives him four goals on the season.
- Gerson Navarro recorded the clean sheet, but it was a light day for him as Wilson outshot Gallaudet 50-0 with 18 shots on goal. Lenin Cinco, Andrew Bailey, Christopher Natale, and Emmanuel Colon Gonzalez were instrumental in the process of blanking the Bison on the shot chart.
- The 50 total shots set a new program record for a single game and surpassed the 45 accumulated against St. Elizabeth on October 14, 2017.
