(CHAMBERSBURG, Pa.) – Wilson College Athletics welcomes Michael (Mike) Bowens as the new men's basketball head coach for the upcoming 2025-26 season. Bowens makes his way to the Phoenix program after serving as the associate head coach of Chestnut Hill where he's been since the 2021-22 season.

Tina Hill and the search committee for their confidence in me and for the opportunity to be part of such a great institution," said Bowens. "I look forward to leading our student athletes with honor, passion, and integrity. My goal is to develop champions both on the court and in the classroom! Let's go Phoenix!"

We're looking forward to this next chapter of Wilson men's basketball and can't wait for the season to start!"
During his time with the Griffins, they went to the postseason all four years which included the first home playoff game in program history in 2023 and another in 2025. The 2023 squad advanced to the CACC semifinals, while last year's team won the CACC South Division championship and were rebounding machine that ranked No. 16 nationally in Division II last season.
Prior to his time there, Bowens served at Penn State Brandywine as the associate head coach from 2018 to 2021 with a playoff appearance in 2019. Bowens worked his way up to the college ranks after coaching at Friends Central School.
