(LATHAM, N.Y.) – The 2025 United East Field Hockey Preseason Poll has been released with Wilson picked third in the league. The rankings were voted on by all of the field hockey head coaches in the United East.
St. Mary's College of Maryland was picked to finish first this season after the Seahawks won the conference championship last season. They received four first place picks in the voting process. Penn State Harrisburg was picked second and received the remaining first place ballot.
Cedar Crest and Lancaster Bible were picked fourth and fifth, respectively.
Four teams will earn a spot in the postseason with the semifinal round taking place on Saturday, November 1, and the final being played the following week.
The Phoenix will open the season on Friday, August 29, at Sweet Briar. The home opener will be on Tuesday, September 9, against Alvernia. United East action will start on Saturday, October 4, against Cedar Crest.
