How It Happened

Lizzie Landon (Sr., West Grove, Pa. / Avon Grove) had the first chance after a penalty corner by Payton Kendall (Sr., McConnellsburg, Pa. / Forbes Road) with a shot that went wide right a minute into the period. Later in the frame Kate Seymour (Jr., Churchton, Md. / Southern) had a shot that was saved by St. Mary's Sophia Kent. St. Mary's countered with a pair of shots that went wide and was blocked to leave the score at 1-0 at the break.
- St. Mary's started to pull away in the second half. Allen made it 2-0 6:31 into the second half and scored a second 3:29 after that. She wasn't done as she completed the hat trick 1:10 into the fourth quarter and scored a fourth in the closing moments.
