(GREENDWOOD, Ind.) – The 2025 Academic All-District® Softball teams have been announced and Wilson has three student-athletes honors after their hard work on the field and in the classroom.
Kayla Talbert (So., Hagerstown, Md. / North Hagerstown / Saint Peter's), Rylee Piper (So., Newville, Pa. / Big Spring), and
Madison Briggs (Jr., Lock Haven, Pa. / Central Mountain) all received the designation as selected by College Sports Communicators, which recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom.
Briggs becomes a two-time selection while Piper and Talbert received honors in their first year of eligibility.
The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes softball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced June 17, 2025.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
