(CHAMBERSBURG, Pa.) – The Wilson equestrian hunt seat team's home show was a success as the Phoenix finished as the reserve high point team on Saturday. The Blue and White had two first place rides and five second place finishes to take second place ahead of Penn State. Dickinson won the event as the high point team.
Aimee Miller and
Tess Hairston both provided blue ribbons for the Phoenix. Miller gave a first place ride in introductory while Hairston was the top rider in intermediate over fences. Hairston added a runner-up ribbon in intermediate on the flat as well.
Other second place finishes went to
Samantha Gilley in Open Over Fences and Open on the Flat.
Erin Woodworth competed in both events and finished right behind her in third.
Jenna Howell was second in limit on the flat and added a third place result in limit over fences.
Danielle Garman provided the last runner-up finish for Wilson in novice on the flat.
Darin Toby finished third in pre-novice on the flat.
The Phoenix will be back in the saddle on Saturday, November 16, when they compete in New Jersey at an event hosted by Dickinson.
