CHAMBERSBURG, Pa.- The Wilson College women's soccer team kicked off against conference opponent Cedar Crest College earlier this afternoon at Chambersburg High School. The Phoenix and the Falcons had a hard fought battle but ended in a 0-0 draw after 90 minutes.
How it Happened: The game against the visiting Falcons was a defensive battle for both sides. A matter of which keeper would slip first, who would find the back of the net first, but neither side wavered and the game ended in a scoreless draw. All of the shots from Cedar Crest College were saved byÂ
Rebecca Marakovitz (New Market, Md., Linganore). While Phoenix had more shots in the first half, the Falcon defense kept the game scoreless going into the second half.Â
