(CHAMBERSBURG, Pa.) – Wilson battled Keystone evenly through 45 minutes, but a second half offensive outburst by the Giants propelled the visitors over the Phoenix in Saturday's United East opener. Although stats were fairly balanced, it was the Giants who made the most of their opportunities as they recorded the clean sheet against the Blue and White.

How It Happened
- Wilson had the first crack at the goal with back-to-back shots from Jace Williams (Sr., Chesapeake, Va. / Hickory) and Bryson Curtis (Sr., Fairfax, Va. / Oakton) in the sixth and seventh minutes, respectively, with Keystone's James Kallens making the save on the former. From there Keystone's offense started generating chances and the Giants fired off five unanswered shots. From there teams traded off pairs of shots, but neither team was able to break through.
- That changed in the second half as Keystone were on the attack early. The Giants' took the first three shots before Tyler Cottone (Sr., Milford, Pa. / Delaware Valley) had a chance that went over the cross bar. Keystone answered with its first goal on the return trip as Aiden Cummings scored in the 57th minute. He wasn't finished as he scored the brace with a goal 12 minutes later. Keystone then put the finishing touches with a goal in the 80th by Nico Bernardo.
Inside The Numbers
- Shots were fairly even, but slightly favored Keystone 19-16 overall and 10-7 in shots on goal.
- Despite the result, Gerson Navarro (Sr., Manassas Park, Va. / Manassas Park) made seven saves for a strong game between the sticks.
- Williams had the most chances for Wilson with four shots, three on goal.
