(CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. ) – It was a tough Saturday for the Wilson women's soccer team as it faced a high-octane Neumann squad. The Knights came out firing on all cylinders and scored three goals in the opening 20 minutes and limited the Phoenix's chances en route to a clean sheet win.

The Basics
- Strong individual efforts led to the Knights opening two goals as Julianna Hatt and Delaney Babish both showed some fancy footwork in the 14th and 18th minutes, respectively. Babish wasn't finished as she found Ebony Arvelo in the 20th minute to cap the first half scoring. Wilson did have a chance to score before all of that happened, but Ashlynn Simmons' (FY, Gerrardstown, W.Va. / Musselman) shot was saved in the seventh minute.
- Nuemann kept the pressure on and fired off 11 more shots in the second half. The Blue and White averted danger for the first 10 with five requiring saves before Haileye Ganaro found the back of the night after receiving the helper from Audrey Duffield.
Inside The Numbers
- Madison Ebersole (Jr., Big Pool, Md. / Clear Springs) got the start in goal and made three saves in the first half. Bella Scarlato (So., Severn Md. / Glen Burnie) spelled her in the second half and made three additional saves.
