Women's Lacrosse Falls at Marywood

(SCRANTON, Pa.) – The Wilson women's lacrosse team was back in action Saturday, but was defeated by a high-powered Marywood squad. The Pacers opened up a large lead early and limited the Phoenix's chances for most of the day.

How It Happened

• The Pacers had a fast start with three goals in the first two minutes and built up an 8-0 lead midway through the first quarter. Alaina Marek (Jr., Bealeton, Va. / Liberty) found the back of the net on an assist from Grace Dickinson (Jr., My. Joy, Pa. / Donegal), but the Blue and White attack was stifled from there on out. The Pacers added six more after that and built upon their lead in the second half en route to the win.
