(BALTIMORE, Md.) – Alyvia Henneman (Jr., Mechanicsburg, Pa. / Cumberland Valley) scored a hat trick for Wilson, but it wasn't enough as the Phoenix fell on the road at Goucher Monday evening. The hosts opened up with a four goal first and added pulled away after Henneman's first near the end of the frame.
The Basics
Score: Wilson 4, Goucher 13
Venue: Beldon Field

How It Happened
- Cards helped Goucher score a pair of early goals on power plays and the Gophers added two more midway through the first. Henneman eventually got the Blue and White on the board with 87 seconds left in the first after an assist from Ellisa Gamby-Mickey (Jr., Chambersburg, Pa. / Chambersburg). It was a sign of things to come as the duo connected twice more late in the third for Wilson's third and fourth goals. Sadie Fike (Jr., McClure, Pa. / Mifflin County) added the final goal of the game after winning the draw control and racing down to score unassisted.
Inside The Numbers
- Henneman's hat trick was the third of her career. They were the first goals of the season for her as well.
- Fike has found the back of the net in all three games this season.
- Fike led the team with three draw controls.
- Riley Lemay (Jr., Saugerties, N.Y. / Saugerties) was a beast on the defensive side with six caused turnovers and eight ground balls.
- Kaelyn Goff (Jr., Union Bridge, Md. / Francis Scott Key) faced 29 shots and made 11 saves on the night.
