How It Happened
- The Blue Jays wasted no time as they scored two goals in the opening minute for the quick lead. Wilson held them off the scoreboard for the next five minutes, but the hosts eventually found the back of the net again with three more goals in a three-minute stretch.
- With about five minutes left in the first half, Kaelyn Goff (Jr., Union Bridge, Md. / Francis Scott Key) made a save on a free position attempt. The Phoenix were able to transition down the field and after a Finley Vandevander (So., Chambersburg, Pa. / Chambersburg) shot went high, Fike was able to find the back of the net with 4:26 left in the second.
- A power play helped set up Wilson's second goal late in the third. After a draw control win by Fike, the Blue Jays were carded and Fike made the most of the opportunity with her second goal.
