Titans Too Much For Wilson

(CHAMBERSBURG, Pa.) –Sadie Fike (Jr., McClure, Pa. / Mifflin County) scored a pair of early third quarter goals, but Wilson ultimately fell to Westminster in non-conference action on Saturday afternoon. The Titans used a strong defense to hold the Phoenix off the scoreboard until the second half and built up a large lead in the first half en route to the win.

How It Happened
  • Wilson had chances early, but penalties halted momentum while the Titans were quick to take advantage. It resulted in four power play goals in the first half as the visitors rushed out to a 9-0 lead.
  • Fike got Wilson on the board a few minutes into the second half as she took a feed from Finley Vandevander (So., Chambersburg, Pa. / Chambersburg). She added a second with Alaina Marek (Jr., Bealeton, Va. / Liberty) providing the helper with five minutes left in the third. Marek added another assist as she found Alyvia Henneman (Jr., Mechanicsburg, Pa. / Cumberland Valley) for the final goal of the game.

  • Kaylyn Goff (Jr., Union Bridge, Md. / Francis Scott Key) was strong again between the pipes with 14 saves on the day. She's recorded double-digits in saves in four of the five games this season.
  • Ellisa Gamby-Mickey (Jr., Chambersburg, Pa. / Chambersburg) was strong defensively with four caused turnovers and two ground balls. She helped Wilson on the start with three draw controls as well.
  • Fike was also strong offensively with three draw controls and three ground balls.
