(YORK, Pa.) – Abby Moreland (Jr., Sabillasville, Md. / Catoctin) recorded her 500th kill, but Wilson still fell to Penn State York in non-conference action on Monday evening. The junior outside hitter entered the contest needing just three kills and finished with nine to lead the team.
The Nittany Lions took an early lead in the opening set and held off the Phoenix for a 1-0 lead. Wilson was able to bounce back in similar fashion in the second after taking a large lead before York got close at the end. The hosts flipped the second set score to take the third game and used that momentum to take the fourth and the match.

- Addie Hebert (Jr., Gettysburg, Pa. / Gettysburg) led in that department with 28 digs on the evening. Allyson Garcelon (Sr., Shrewsbury, Pa. / Susquehannock) joined her in the 20-club with 21.
- Michaela Windisch (Jr., Westminster, Md. / Catoctin) and Alison Daniels (So., Lititz, Pa. / Warwick) joined them in double figures with 13 and 10, respectively.
- Garcelon was excellent on the serve with four aces. Moreland, Grace Owens (Jr., Winchester, Va. /James Wood) and Windisch all added two.
