How It Happened (Monday Game 1 vs. Penn State Harrisburg)
- After a pair of scoreless innings, the Nittany Lions opened the scoring by taking advantage of a pair of Wilson errors. Harrisburg added another pair with three base hits to the outfield.
- Wilson started to generate some offense in the bottom of the frame which started with a double to right center by Abigail Evans (FY, Muncy, Pa. / Warrior Run). Waverly Moffett (FY, Westminster, Md. / Winter Mill) followed with a single to left to move her to third. P Kendall (XXX) then loaded the bases with a single. Ashley Stevens (JR. Valencia, Calif. / Valencia) then took a base on balls to get the Phoenix on the scoreboard. Unfortunately, the Phoenix couldn't take advantage of the bases remaining loaded and left the bases full.
- The Nittany Lions added another pair of insurance runs in the sixth. Wilson looked to rally in the seventh and got a pair of runners on base after K O'Brine (FY, Dillsburg, Pa. / Northern) singled to left and Alyssa Wenger (Sr., Chambersburg, Pa. / Chambersburg) walked, but Harrisburg worked out of the jam to end the game.
How It Happened (Monday Game 2 vs. Hilbert)
- The Monday nightcap saw the Hawks jump out to an early lead and hold off a Phoenix charge at the end. Hibert opened the scoring with a two-RBI double in the second and added a thirdin the third. The Phoenix were able to answer in the bottom on the fourth thanks to a triple by Taylor Barker (Sr., Chehalis, Wash. / WF West) that brought in O'Brine. One batter later Haiden Brookens (XXX) single to right field to score Barker and make it 3-2.
- Three hits and a walk to start the bottom of the fourth gave Hilbert a 6-2 lead at the start of the fourth. The Hawks added a sacrifice fly and a single to right field to close their scoring with an 8-2 lead.
- Wilson started its rally in the fifth with a hit and an error that allowed Kendall to score and make it 8-4. The Phoenix got even closer in the top of the sixth. With the bases loaded, Madison Heuer (Jr., Greencastle, Pa. / Greencastle) brought in a pair of runs with a base hit to make the score 8-6. It was as close as they could get, however, as they left the bases loaded.
How It Happened (Tuesday Game 1 vs. Albion)
- The Britons opened up a 3-0 lead before Wilson was able to tie it in the bottom of the third. All three runs were scored in similar fashion as they came on base hits by Madison Briggs (So., Lock Haven, Pa. / Central Mountain), Haley Privett (Sr., Fayetteville, Pa. / Chambersburg Magnet), and Payton Kendall (Jr., McConnellsburg, Pa. / Forbes Road) with the bases loaded.
- The momentum was short-lived as Albion responded with five runs in the top of the fourth on three hits and three errors. The Phoenix were able to get a pair back as O'Brine single to left second to score a pair of runs, but the Britons once again answered with two more runs in the sixth.
How It Happened (Game 2 vs. Misericordia)
- The final game saw Wilson jump out to a 5-0 lead before the Cougars scored all their runs in what proved to be the final inning. Heuer singled to right to get the offense rolling in the first and eventually scored on a steal of home. Brookens then made it 2-0on a ground out.
- Three more runs followed in the bottom of the fourth. A bases-loaded hit by pitch to Brookens made it 3-0, and one batter later Barker doubled to left to score Heuer and Lindsey Dalenberg (FY, Niles, Mich. / Edwardsburg) for a 5-0 lead.
- The Cougars responded in a big way themselves as 10 hits led to 13 points. Wilson was unable to recover and went out in order in order to end the game.
