(CHAMBERSBURG, Pa.) – Wilson fell to Lancaster Bible as the two squared off in United East men's soccer action on Saturday afternoon. The Phoenix battled hard for the first portion of the game before the Chargers eventually scored a late first half goal and pulled away in the second.

How It Happened
- The Chargers controlled possession for most of the first half with steady chances throughout the first half, but Wilson was able to get off a shot in the seventh minute as Andrew Bailey (So., Mount Airy, Md. / Linganore) put one on the cage that was saved. LBC started to put pressure on at the 30-minute mark where it had eight shots in a nine minute span. The fifth of those ended up counting on the scoreboard as Ben Nolt was able to steal the ball away and score unassisted.
- Wilson looked to equalize and had a pair of solid chances early in the second. Colin Davidson (Sr., Northampton, Pa. / Northampton) had the first of those less than a minute into the frame with a shot to the bottom right that was saved. Jordan DeVincent (So., Eldersburg, Md. / Liberty) followed three minutes later with a take to the same location that was also saved.
- The Chargers ended up adding an insurance goal in the 60th minute as Andrew Cox scored on an assist from Owen Shoemaker. Cox wasn't finished as he assisted another goal in the 83rd minute that set up the final score.
