- Katie Riley (Mt. Airy, Md. / Urbana) joined the action and kept pressure on the back line with two shots, finding the back of the net to extend the Phoenix lead to 2-0 in the final minutes of the first half.
- Mount Aloysius started to generate some more offensive opportunities in the second half with Jordan Mason and Grace O'Berry both taking a shot, but Rebecca Marakovitz (Jr., New Market, Md. / Linganore) made both saves to keep the shutout intact.
- The Phoenix kept the pressure on and extended their lead to 3-0 in the 48th minute courtesy of Shaffer. She connected with the net one last time in the 60th minute to settle the score at 4-0 for Wilson.
