How It Happened
  • The first goal came early as Paige Ney (Fr., Biglerville, Pa. / Biglerville) scored just 45 seconds into the game after taking a an assist from Brea Kelso (So., Shippensburg, Pa. / Shippensburg). Ney wasn't done as she made the score 2-0 just under seven minutes later. Abigail Rosenberry (Sr., Shippensburg, Pa. / Shippensburg) made it 3-0 in favor of Wilson at the 10:05 mark of the first quarter.
  • The second period was the best offensively for the Phoenix as they slipped five by the goalkeeper. Rosenberry added her second of the day just under two minutes into the frame. Kelso also found the back of the goal with Elizabeth Landon (Fr., West Grove, Pa. / Avon Grove) providing a helper. Kelso added her second just 77 seconds later. Emma Bounds (So., Carlisle, Pa. / Boiling Springs) closed the frame with the final two goals, the last of which beat the halftime buzzer.
  • In the third, Ney added another pair to give her four on the day with Kelso and Landon each adding another assist. Bounds also scored the hat trick and closed out the scoring for the day.
