MORRISTOWN, N.J.- The Wilson College Men's Volleyball team traveled to the number two seed, Saint Elizabeth for the first round of Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Playoffs. The Phoenix dropped the three sets against the Eagles with set scores of 25-12, 25-17, and 25-4.
How It Happened: In the first set, the Phoenix capitalized on errors by the Eagles. SeniorsÂ
Andrew Hetzer (Chambersburg, PA., Cumberland Valley Christian)Â andÂ
Connor Martin (Warner Robins, GA., Houston County)Â combined for a block and two kills from fellow seniorÂ
Shae Cardenas (Torrance, CA., West Los Angeles CC)Â were some of the ways the Phoenix were earning points in the first set. For set two, Wilson traded points back and forth with Saint Elizabeth until the Phoenix were able to pull ahead thanks to serves from freshmanÂ
Jackson Cordell (Waynesboro, PA, Waynesboro Area Senior H.S.)Â to bring the score to 13-10. The Eagles were able to fight their way back into the game and take the game after a tight battle with a score of 25-17. In the third set, all of Wilson's points came from errors by the Eagles.

Shae Cardenas led the team with kills and digs having four in both categories. FreshmanÂ
Jackson Cordell had two aces while seniorÂ
Andrew Hetzer had six assists.
