WESTMINSTER, Md.- Wilson's win streak ends in a non-conference match against McDaniel College. The Phoenix fall to the Green Terror 43-73 dropping Wilson's record to 11-5 and remain undefeated in conference play.
How It Happened: Senior
Adrian Thomas (Germantown, MD., Northwest HS) earned the first four points for the Phoenix in the opening minutes of the game, shooting a three and getting fouled in the process and making the following free throw to put the Phoenix ahead 4-0. In the first half, Wilson went 9-10 from the free-throw line to earn half of their total points. The Phoenix would start the second half trailing 35-18 to the Green Terror. Thomas again started the scoring for the Phoenix after a quick jumper in the paint to bring the score to 35-20. While Wilson tried to push back into the game, McDaniel continued to improve their lead leaving the Phoenix unable to catch up.

Adrian Thomas led the team with 15 points, five rebounds, and one block to finish the game. Junior
Kennedy Birdwell (Temple Hills, MD., Fairmont Heights) had the second-most points for the team with nine points. Wilson shot 15-18 from the free-throw line while the Wilson bench earned 24 points for the team.
Up Next: The Phoenix (11-5, 7-0 CSAC) return to conference play and look to remain unbeaten Wednesday, January 26 at 8:00 p.m. at Clarks Summit University (6-12, 3-4 CSAC).
