FLEMINGTON, N.J. - The Wilson College baseball team took on the Eagles of St. Elizabeth University in a Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) doubleheader. The Phoenix (15-3, 4-2 CSAC) swept the Eagles (2-6, 1-5 CSAC) by scores of 14-8 and 18-4. 
Game One: In the first inning, freshman 
Peyton Mason (Knoxville, MD, Boonsboro HS) started the scoring by drawing a walk that forced home a run. The next batter up, junior 
Gerald Buchanan (Olney, MD, Montgomery CC (MD)), drove in two more runs with a double to center field. Junior 
Eric Holz (Williamsport, PA., Loyalsock Township) added the last run of the first with a sacrifice fly to left field, putting Wilson on top 4-0 early. In the bottom half of the inning, junior 
Cam Nolet (Annapolis, MD., S.C. Aiken) took to the mound in game one, seeking his fourth win of the season. 
Nolet managed to work his way out of the inning with no damage done. In the top of the second, junior 
Brandon Cook (Glen Burnie, MD., Shepherd University) pushed the score to 5-0 with an RBI to center field. The Phoenix cruised to victory in game one as they went on to win by a score of 14-8.
Inside the Box Score: The bats were working extra tonight as Wilson scored 14 runs on 22 hits with one error while their opponent finished with eight runs on 11 hits with two errors. Five players finished game one with multiple hits and multiple RBIs for the Phoenix. 
Cook went 5-7 with two runs, two RBIs while senior 
KJ Curry (Bowie, MD., ) went 4-6 with two runs, two RBIs, and a double. Junior 
Juan Rosario (Hollywood, FL., Hollywood Hills) added four hits on six plate appearances adding two runs, two RBIs, and a home run to right field in the ninth inning. 
Nolet threw for six innings, striking out six batters and only letting up five hits. Freshman 
Shane Bowie (Frederick, MD, Thomas Johnson HS) and junior 
Max Little (Crestview, FL., Spangdahlem) came in for relief and combined for two strikeouts. 
Game Two: Things got started right away as the 
Cook opened up game two with a homer to right field in the top of the first inning. Later in the inning, 
Buchanan added another run with a double to right field, putting the Phoenix up 2-0. Junior 
Kevin Ehrman (York, PA., Central York) started on the mound in game two, putting out the bottom half of the inning in order. Moving forward to the top of the second, 
Curry drove in a run off an RBI sacrifice fly that pushed the score to 3-0. Later on, in the top of the third, things really opened up for Wilson. The Phoenix added eight runs on seven hits that put them way out in front, 11-0, as they cruised to another victory, 18-4. 
Inside the Box Score: Ehrman threw for five, striking out one and letting up just four hits. 
Cook capped off the game hitting 3-5 with four runs, four RBIs, two doubles, a homer, and a stolen base. Senior 
Jacob Whittington (Salisbury, MD., Univ. of the Sciences) added three hits, three runs, two walks, and one RBI. All together Wilson added 22 hits in game two giving them a total of 44 total hits for the series. 
Up Next: The Phoenix will continue CSAC play as they get set to travel to Centenary University for a doubleheader series on Saturday, April 24, starting at noon.
