CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - The Wilson College Phoenix (2-9-1, 2-3-1 CSAC) faced off against the Saint Elizabeth University Eagles (6-4-2, 3-2-1 CSAC) in a conference matchup. The battle of the birds was true to its name as each team fought for a victory pushing the game into double overtime and eventually finished in a 0-0 tie after 110 minutes. Before tonight's game, Wilson honored their three seniors,
Andrew Hetzer (Chambersburg, PA., Cumberland Valley Christian), Andre Johnson (Saluda, VA., Christchurch School), and
Brandom Rios (Carolina, Puerto Rico, Colegio Bautista De Carolina).
How it Happened: The Eagles came to Wilson eager to play and started the game with the first shot within the first minute. A few minutes later, the Eagles came close to being up over the Phoenix by one but the goal was denied after a Saint Elizabeth player was offsides bringing the score back to 0-0. In the second half, the battle continued and got harder as the half drew to the end. The Phoenix were up a man after a red card was shown to a Saint Elizabeth player in the 70th minute. Wilson continued to push on both offense and defense as
Hetzer kept the match even at zero. In double overtime, another strong defensive match was played by the Phoenix and the Eagles keeping the score tied 0-0.

Terrell Samuels (Chambersburg, PA., Chambersburg) and Junior
Noah Wickenheiser (Cresco, PA., Notre Dame) led the team in shots on goal with two apiece. Senior
Andrew Hetzer earned nine saves and a shutout in today's match.
