CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - The Wilson College men's soccer team faced off against the Defenders of Clarks Summit earlier today in a Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) showdown. The Phoenix defeated the Defenders by a final score of 2-1.
How It Happened: Clarks Summit started the match by scoring the first point in the ninth minute of play, taking a 1-0 lead early. Shortly after, in the 18th minute of play, Wilson responded with a goal of their own. This time it was sophomore
Dylan Youmans (Westminster, MD, South Carroll High School) with the equalizer as both teams entered halftime knotted at one apiece. Both teams kept things close throughout the second half until sophomore
Connor Bowers (Hagerstown, MD, North Hagerstown High School)found the back of the net in the 87th minute of play, giving the Phoenix the 2-1 victory.

Bowers both notched goals for Wilson while senior goalkeeper AJ recorded two saves in the match.
