CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - The Wilson College women's volleyball team hosted the Crusaders of Christendom College in a nonconference match this evening. The Phoenix (4-5, 0-0) defeated the Crusaders (2-8, 0-0) three sets to none, with scores of 25-19, 25-14, and 25-17.
How It Happened: Sophomore
Tioleaoauli Posiulai (Waipahu, HI., University Laboratory School) led both teams with 11 kills for the match while freshman
Anika Eigen-Zucchi (Washington, D.C., St. Johns College High School) and sophomore
Tia Jones (Springfield, VA., Lake Braddock) both tallied up eight and seven kills, respectively. Freshman
Jenna Mongold (Mercersburg, PA., James Buchanan) supplied the assists all match, she finished with 26.
The Wilson defense came up big for the Phoenix in this one.

Elizabeth Vuxta (Elizabethtown, PA., Elizabethtown) both had four. The offense would also play a huge part in this game as well.

Lizzy Farnes (Coconut Creek, Fla., Coral Springs) finished with three.
Altogether, the Phoenix finished with 34 kills on 68 attempts on 11 errors for a hitting percentage of .338. Their opponent finished with 23 kills on 63 attempts against 18 errors for a hitting percentage of .079. Wilson also had 34 kills, 14 aces and 5 blocks in the match.
Up Next: The Phoenix will be on short rest this week as they get set to visit the Nittany Lions of Penn State Mont Alto (9-2, 4-0) on Thursday, September 19. This match will take place at Heiges Field House on the campus of Shippensburg University at 7:30 P.M.
