WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - The Wilson College women's basketball team traveled to Williamsport, Pa. to tip off against NEAC opponent, Pennsylvania College of Technology. The hosting Wildcats came out triumphant 63-61 after a tightly contested game.

They had a 7 point run that consisted of a lay-up from sophomore Lindsey Purvis (Fort Myers, Fl), a lay-up from sophomore Jordyn Day (Richmond, Va), and a three-pointer from Day. The run was ended with a three-pointer from Wildcats (2-10, 2-6 NEAC) sophomore, Jane Herman. Purvis responded quickly, adding another two points to the scoreboard with some action in the paint, putting the Phoenix up 9-3. Sophomore Amber Watkins (Honesdale, Pa) had a great game. Purvis, Day, and sophomore Ashley Henderson (Upper Marlboro, Md.) each contributed to the Phoenix's total in the third quarter. The Phoenix outscored the Wildcats 16-13 in the third, tying up the game 50-50 and raising tensions for the final quarter. The fierce competition didn't stop, and the score remained close as the two teams went on to battle it out in the fourth.

The Wildcats has the first basket of the final quarter. Purvis evened up the score with a lay-up, tying the game at 52-52. The Phoenix were able to gain three points on their opponents.
