WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Wilson College women's volleyball team finished off the weekend with a North Eastern Athletic Conference match versus Keuka College. The Wolves topped the Phoenix 3-0.

The Wolves (11-8, 6-4 NEAC) won by scores of 25-11, 25-9, and 25-13 over the Phoenix (0-18, 0-10 NEAC). Leading the way for the Phoenix was freshman Laury Jean Baptiste (Fort Lauderdale, Fl., Coconut Creek), who accounted for 2 kills, 3 blocks, and 3 digs. Freshman Simahj James (Fort Lauderdale, Fl., Northeast High) led the Phoenix with 2 assists, while classmate Kaydi Brubaker (Williamsburg, Pa., Williamsburg) tallied 2 service aces and 3 digs. Sophomore Hanna Quarry (Elizabethtown, Pa., Elizabethtown) added a pair of digs and blocks for the visitors.

For the match, the Phoenix had 4 kills against 19 errors on 49 attempts for an attacking percentage of -.306, while the Wolves tallied 28 kills against 14 errors on 58 attempts for a .241 attacking percentage.

Wilson will wrap up the season next weekend with a NEAC crossover hosted by Penn College.
