Terry Harris became the head coach of women's soccer at Wilson College in 2019. Through six seasons he has accumulated an overall record of 65-38-10 to become the winningest head coach in program history. In conference play he has guided the Phoenix to a record of 35-15-2. Harris has led the Phoenix to the postseason in all but his first season with back-to-back semifinal appearances during the 2021, 2022, and 2023 campaigns. Over that time the Blue and White are 4-1-1 at home in the postseason.

In 2021 Harris was named CSAC Coach of the Year after the Phoenix went 8-1 in in conference. Wilson has had 26 all-conference players, one all-region selection, rookies of the year in 2021 and 2023, and the defensive player of the year in 2022 under his guidance.

Wilson set several team records in 2022 such as where the team scored a record 76 goals and only allowed 15. Nationally the Phoenix were ranked fourth in the nation in corner kicks per game, eighth in scoring offense, and 14th for overall corners on the year. A high octane offense continued in 2023 as the Phoenix led the nation in shots on goal per game with 14.3 and were eighth in shots per game with 23.35. The Phoenix defense shined in 2024 as Wilson tied for eighth in the nation in shutout percentage.

Prior to Wilson, Harris came to Chambersburg from Penn State-Mont Alto after serving as the assistant coach of the women’s soccer program, where they reached the semifinals in conference playoffs in 2018. Before his time at Mont Alto, Harris started coaching at the early age of 14 where he coached a U8 indoor soccer team at his local recreation department. Harris has coached several club, high school, and middle school teams throughout his seasoned coaching career. He also spent time as a volunteer at the Special Olympics where he assisted as a referee.

Shortly after graduating high school, Harris entered the United States Navy where he served as an air traffic controller for five years. While serving he played several matches overseas in the military. Afterwards Terry began working with the Federal Aviation Administration as an air traffic controller and retired after 30 years of government service. While working in the FAA, he played on a team representing the United States Air Traffic Controllers in the European Air Traffic Controllers Cup for five years.

Harris has been married for 28 years to his wife Angela and has three children and two grandchildren.
