Brooke Hunley was named Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach at Wilson College in August of 2022.

This past spring she coached a record-breaking season for Wilson’s lacrosse program. The Phoenix ended their past season 12-5 overall record with only one loss in the conference, leading them to the conference championship game.

The Phoenix led the conference in 2023 in multiple team categories. Jill Ahlgren, one of multiple athletes ranked in the conference, was a statistical champion in the CSAC and landed rankings in the NCAA and NAIA. During this process, nine of her athletes were named All-CSAC honorees and two earned Academic All-District accolades, making it the most athletes in program history to earn post-season honors.

In her first year as head coach, Hunley coached the Phoenix to the CSAC semi-finals in their first, full regular season. The Phoenix ended their 2022 season with a .667 winning percentage in the conference.

Previously to Wilson, Coach Hunley was the Assistant Women’s Lacrosse Coach at Shepherd University. Hunley coached a total of four seasons with the Rams. Hunley has helped lead the team to two MEC championships and has coached many standout players. She worked primarily with the offense.

Prior to coaching, Brooke Hunley played lacrosse for four years at Shepherd University. In those four years, Hunley helped lead the team to 3 MEC Championships where she claimed two Championship rings. She also received First Team All-MEC honors and ALL-MEC tournament team.  Hunley was a captain and an offensive leader for the Rams. She ended her career with 94 goals and 112 points.
