Biography

2023: Became the most decorated player in program history after he was named an All-American by both D3Baseball.com and ABCA/Rawlings… was a third team selection by ABCA and a fifth team selection by D3Baseball.com in addition to All-Region First Team selections by both organizations… was the CSAC Player of the Year and a first team selection… hit .407 on the year in to help Wilson win the statistical national championship with a batting average of .390… was among the nation’s leaders in multiple hitting categories including being No. 13 with an .835 slugging percentage, No. 19 with 131 total bases, No. 24 with 19 doubles, and No. 26 with 14 home runs… had an incredible CSAC Championship tournament run where he went 7-for-15 with four home runs in the final three games… in a win at Rosemont (4/2/23), he scored six runs to tie for the most for a single game in the entirety of the NCAA… had 17 multi-hit games and led the team along with Jordan McKenzie with 15 multiple RBI games… recorded an 11-game hit streak between February 26 against Mary Baldwin and March 23 against Cairn… had a reached base streak of 15-straight games to start the season which totaled 30 games dating back to 2022… ended his career No. 34 in the active career leader list with a .401 batting average… became the first Phoenix baseball player to sign a professional contract after inking with the Lake Country DockHounds of the American Association of Professional Baseball…

2022: Was an All-CSAC Second Team selection… led the conference with a .445 batting average, a .745 slugging percentage, and a 1.253 OPS… was second in the CSAC with 18 doubles and fourth with three triples… had 12 multiple hit and eight multiple RBI games… had the longest hit streak of anyone on the team at 14 games that started in the season opener at Gallaudet on February 20 and concluded at Cairn on April 2… reached base in 15 consecutive games to end the season… powered out a 5-for-5 day at the plate with five RBI and four runs scored in the series opener at Clarks Summit (4/29/23)… three of those hits went for extra bases, all doubles, for another season best…
2021: Earned All-CSAC First Team honors after transferring in from Old Dominion University… was fourth on the team with a .391 batting average after he went 36-for-92 from the plate with five homers, two triples, and six doubles… was second on the team with 31 hits, 36 runs scored, 25 RBI, 61 total bases, and 18 walks… was third with a .663 slugging percentage and four stolen bases… had 11 multiple hit and eight multiple RBI games… recorded a 10 game hit streak from April 8 against Penn State-Altoona to May 14 against Keystone…
2020 (at ODU): Saw action in six games, making all six starts... averaged .200 with four hits, one double, one triple and two RBIs... did not commit an error... recorded one multi-hit game against VMI (3/3)... in the same game notched his only double and triple of the season.

2019 (at ODU): Played in 28 games, starting 20 behind the plate... hit .197 with three doubles and six RBIs ... tied for second on the team with four sac bunts ... recorded first career hit in first at bat, a single against Binghamton ... had five multi-hit games ... was 3-for-6 with two runs and an RBI at UTSA ... was 0-for-1 with four walks and a run scored at FAU ... notched a 2-for-4 day with a run in the win over Virginia Tech…

PERSONAL: Son of Mike and Julie Marrale... his father played baseball at Virginia and his uncle, Rodney, pitched at ODU during the 80s... his sister, Morgan, was an all-conference performer at ODU on the women's lacrosse team from 2013 to 2017... favorite pro team is the Colts and favorite athlete is Peyton Manning... enjoys country and rap music, specifically Chris Stapleton, Luke Combs, Lil Skies, Juice WRLD and A Boogie... favorite movies are Remember The Titans and Minions... hobbies include hunting, fishing and Fortnite... favorite food is chicken alfredo...
